Fredericksburg Events 2022

Fredericksburg Oktoberfest

September 30th -Oct 2nd @ Marktplatz Von Fredericksburg

One of Fredericksburg’s most popular festivals is returning for its 42nd year. Oktoberfest, slated for September 30 – October 3rd, honors the town’s rich German heritage with everything from oompah music, arts and crafts, shopping, a children’s area, over 50 varieties of beer and wine, great food and plenty of fun. 

Fredericksburg Trade Days

A very unique and fun filled shopping experience, Fredericksburg’s Trade Days bring over 350 vendors in seven barns filled with qntiques, collectibles, tools, crafts, home decor, furiture, hunting supplies, candles, clothes and more! Located off of Hwy 290 just East of Fredericksburg.

Trade Days is held the weekend of the third Saturday of each month. Stop on by and have a meal, brewages and a shopping experience like no other!

Fredericksburg Pumpkin Patch & Hayrides

Hay rides, live music, full bar and food vendors, face painting, a pumpkin patch with pumpkins, gourds, corn and more. Plus, come see our bats at Old Tunnel State Park! Ready to see 3,000 Mexican free-tailed bats at Old Tunnel State Park head back home for the year?! Must reserve with Park Service in advance! Depending on weather and the bats themselves, you may get the chance to see exactly that! Come enjoy the fall weather in Fredericksburg Texas! For one weekend each year, the sleepy town of Bankersmith, Texas (a few miles from the Old Tunnel State Park Bat Tunnel) throws a family friendly Halloween Party and becomes the center of ALL THAT IS FALL. A FREE hay ride and huge pumpkin patch for the kids and a Halloween Contest for all age groups. Plenty of farm animals to pet and feed. Food and drink concessions abound, and even a Hay Ride for kids and adults alike.

Fredericksburg Food & Wine Fest

Fredericksburg’s annual grand celebration of Texas food and wine. Fredericksburg is widely known for its summer peaches, award-winning Texas wine and impressive culinary scene. At this event, enjoy Texas wineries and Texas-made specialty partners, Texas gourmet chefs demonstrating culinary talents at the Grape Expectations Cooking School and the Gargantuan Great Grape Toss along with a silent auction and live entertainment.  There are also several additional special events to attend including special dinners and a brunch for which tickets must be purchased in advance. Detailed schedule of events and advance tickets sales will be available on the website. Please note that pets are not allowed at Marktplatz. Main event is on Saturday.
